EPDM stands for Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer. Engineering specifications describe EPDM as "Ideal for outdoor applications because of its excellent resistance to ultra-violet light, ozone, oxidants, and severe weather conditions."
Stays flexible in temperatures from -40 Fahrenheit to 175 Fahrenheit making it easy to install all year round. Unlike other liner materials, it does not contain plasticizers that could make it become brittle with age and cause cracks or splits in the material; threatening aquatic life.

Hygrade LS - Klinger Hygrade LS   View Specifications
Hygrade LS sheet gasketing is made of 100% expanded PTFE using a special process that produces a uniform and highly fibrillated multidirectional microstructure.  This creates a soft and pliable, yet very tough gasket that has excellent resistance to compression, creep relaxation and cold flow.  Suitable for un-even and damaged flanges.
Insertion Rubber - Insertion Rubber   View Specifications
This rubber product is made of natural rubber with a cloth inner liner, giving the product higher tear strength than ordinary rubber sheeting. Insertion Rubber is used for a variety of applications including matting, packing, gaskets dust curtains and mud flaps.
Nitrile Insertion rubber is used for some gasket and diaphragm applications.

One of the earliest of the synthetic materials to be developed as an oil resistant substitute for Natural Rubber, Neoprene is a homopolymer of chloroprene (chlorobutadiene).
Temperature Range: Standard Compound: 45 F to +250 F. (Dry Heat Only)
Hardness (Shore A): 40 to 90.
Features: Neoprene can be used in innumerable sealing applications, due to its broad base of such desirable working properties as: moderate resistance to petroleum oils; good resistance to ozone, sunlight and oxygen aging; relatively low compression set; good resilience; and reasonable production cost.

Neoprene/Nitrile - Nitrile   View Specifications
Nitrile rubber, or Buna-N,is a synthetic rubber copolymer of acrylonitrile (CAN) and butadiene.  This copolymer of butadiene and acrylonitrile is recommended when excellent resistance to petroleum oils and gasoline is required.  Solvent resistance increases and low temperature flexibility decreases in basic polymers with higher acrylonitrile content. Low temperature resistance is inferior to natural rubber, but NBR can be compounded to give adequate performance in this area.
